Cookies in the rain...

IT RAINS!

It rains...

But what does it matter!,
if I am here sheltered by this door
listening to the rain that falls from the sky
a silent melody
that no one else listens to
but me?

It rains...

But it is the fate
of those who love
to hear a violin
even in the mud.

Some of my fondest memories of childhood are eating cookies piped with a star tip just like that. Especially in the rain, it's wonderful.
