Eve's apple

Temptation serpentines through the tablecloth.

The apple becomes pie and Heaven comes down to Earth...

Today we are Adam and Eve and again the forbidden fruit is desired as in the original sin.

Apple pie

250 g wheat flour
1 tbsp baking powder
100 g sugar
125 g soft butter
1 egg
1 pinch of salt
Egg yolk to brush

Combine all the ingredients together.
Cover the dough with wrap film and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Pre-heat the oven to 180ºC.

7 apples
300 g sugar
Juice of 1 lemon

These are so adorable. I made fruit tarts and lemon meringue tarts today...and since it's the first day of fall I was thinking of how to make a small apple tart. And then your photo came over on Food Gawker - and you answered all my questions! Wonderful. Thank you for great inspiration!
